My Thoughts:
Connor Prescott is not above using their current situation in order to get to know Katie Kaswell better. Katie shows how hard it can be to find the right guy. These are two people that when you first meet them you can’t picture them as a couple. But as you get to know each of them that begins to change. It was interesting watch Connor worm his way into Katie’s world.
I love this writing duo because it’s impossible to tell who writes what and whose idea is what. It’s just a book to enjoy and it forces you to sit back and relax. The hardest part becomes having to put it down. Sleep and work are important but once you get invested it just becomes almost impossible to think about anything else. There’s a little girl that makes an appearance that stole my heart the minute I met her. I looked forward to every scene she was in.
This may be part of a series and it may be book four in said series but you don’t have to have read the previous three in order to enjoy this one. You also won’t feel lost. I think that if you’ve never read these author’s before, you may be a fan by the time you finish reading Connor and Katie’s story. And if you like an ending that leaves a smile on your face you will not be disappointed. Since I’ve read the previous books in this series I can go back and revisit them until such time as the next great book comes along.
